Hi, I'm Danny Pallotta a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) from the University of Adelaide in South Australia, where I live.
Whether I'm called a developer, programmer, code-ninja, analyst, "solution architect" or just a geek doesn't matter. What does matter is that I love finding creative and elegant solutions to problems of all shapes and sizes.
I have technical skills/past experience working with Java, PHP, XHTML/CSS, XML, XSLT & XPath, C/C++, C#.Net, Computer Networking, Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Event Driven Design Patterns and GUIs, Functional Programming in Scheme, Operating Systems Programming and have worked at some stage with all 3 common flavours of OS, Windows, Mac and Linux.
On a personal level, I am hardworking, intelligent and reliable. I work well in a team and am happy to take an active role in leadership when it doesn't step on toes, but have enough individual initiative to work without supervision as well. In my spare time I enjoy keeping physically and mentally active, I play soccer, read, cycle, learn songs on the guitar and work on pet projects. I also enjoy learning about other cultures and languages.
